Used Parts
A used parts is considered to be in good operating condition and guaranteed to function as it should. Used parts will not be in perfect condition. There may be signs of wear (i.e. rust, scratches and other blemishes).  However, Deep South Auto Parts guarantees no defect or blemish will affect the overall functionality of the item.
Core Parts
All parts sold as core may or may not function properly as-is but are guaranteed to be rebuildable. Rebuildable is understood to mean, the part can be repaired to function as it should by cleaning, modifying, or replacing necessary components of the purchased part preventing the need to replace the whole part. Core parts come with no guarantee about how long or how well they will perform. Parts sold as core should expect to be rebuilt, repaired, or modified to function properly, and Deep South Auto Parts does not suggest installing these parts without doing so.
Rebuilt Parts
A rebuilt part is completely disassembled, cleaned and repaired using new replacement parts. Critical wear areas are thoroughly inspected and replaced as necessary. Rebuilt parts are repaired to manufacturer specifications and guaranteed to function like new.
Core Exchanges
If a core exchange is required for the item, please do not purchase the item until you are prepared to pay the core deposit and/or send in an exchange. Core exchange requirements are clearly posted, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to note these requirements. Upon receipt of the purchased item, buyer has 21 days to return the core exchange for a full deposit refund. After which time the core deposit is forfeited and Deep South Auto Parts will purchase the core at market value. All core deposits will be immediately refunded upon receipt of a rebuildable core exchange. Unless otherwise agreed upon, the buyer assumes complete responsibility, financial or otherwise, for shipping the core exchange to Deep South Auto Parts’ facility. Core exchanges must be properly packaged to prevent fluid leaks. If a core exchange cannot be delivered to Deep South Auto Parts’ door due to leaking fluids, improper packaging, mislabeled information, etc, buyer forfeits the core deposit. The item will not ship until core deposit or core exchange is received by Deep South Auto Parts.
SHIPPING TERMS
Deep South Auto Parts uses FedEx exclusively for parcel package shipments.
Ground Shipping
FedEx Ground delivers with a 1 to 5-day window. FedEx Ground purchases made before 4pm EST will ship the next day. Ground purchases made after 4pm EST will ship within the second business day. FedEx Ground purchases made on Saturday or Sunday will ship within the second business day.
Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping will be either, FedEx Overnight, or FedEx 2-day. Expedited purchases made before 4pm EST will ship the same day. Expedited purchases made after 4pm EST will ship the next day. Expedited purchases made on Saturday or Sunday will ship on the next business day.
Other Terms
Deep South Auto Parts will not ship to a P.O. Box. Under no circumstances will packages be held at a FedEx location for pickup unless the pickup location is submitted as the "Ship To" address at checkout.
WARRANTY
The warranty applies only to physical goods purchased from the Deep South Auto Parts. Deep South Auto Parts understands the buyer wishes to use this product under the conditions of this warranty. In consideration of the mutual agreement laid out, both the buyer and Deep South Auto Parts agree as follows:
Limited Warranty
Deep South Auto Parts warrants that this item will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for the entirety of the warranty period stated above. In the event a jurisdiction imposes any implied warranties under the rule of law, the implied warranty period is limited to the entirety of the warranty period stated above. Deep South Auto Parts disclaims all other warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to Implied Warranties of Merchantability and Fitness for a Particular Purpose with regard for the item purchased under this warranty.
Buyer Remedies and Solutions
Deep South Auto Parts’ entire liability and the buyer’s exclusive remedy shall be, either (a) refund for the price paid for the purchased item, or (b) replacement of the purchased item that does not meet the standards of the warranty and after it is returned to the Deep South Auto Parts. This warranty is void if failure of the purchased item has resulted from accident, abuse, or misapplication. Any replacement item will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or 30 DAYS, whichever is longer. This warranty is void if the item has been modified, altered, or tampered with in any way other than what is necessary for installation.
Exclusions
Unless otherwise noted or agreed upon not applicable under this warranty will be any and all electrical components attached to used or rebuilt non-electrical parts, including but not limited to solenoids, actuators, wiring, wiring harnesses, plugs, sockets, etc. Deep South Auto Parts assumes no liability, financial or otherwise, for the failure or defection of electrical components attached to a used or rebuilt non-electrical part under this warranty.
Inclusions
Any and all non-electrical, internal or external, moving and non-moving mechanical components that would prevent the used or rebuilt part from performing to the manufacturer’s standards are applicable under this agreement and warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for the entirety of the warranty period stated above.
Other Terms
Any alterations or modifications to any item before resolving issues with the Deep South Auto Parts voids warranty and all refunds. If the item is found to have been damaged during installation, no refund will be given. Deep South Auto Parts is not responsible for any misuse or neglect of this item and will not cover consumer damage under this warranty. Deep South Auto Parts will not be responsible for personal injury, incidental or consequential damage to buyer’s vehicle by any item. If an item is found to have been damaged during delivery, do not open it until contacting Deep South Auto Parts for instructions.
Returns
Refunds will be for the cost of the item only; no original shipping cost will be refunded unless either (a) the item was defective when it left Deep South Auto Parts’ facility, or (b) Deep South Auto Parts made a shipping error.
The buyer is responsible for returning items to Deep South Auto Parts. Return shipping, financial or otherwise, will be the responsibility of the buyer unless, either (a) the item was defective when it left Deep South Auto Parts’ facility, or (b) Deep South Auto Parts made a shipping error. If either are found to be true, a refund for return shipping will be issued after Deep South Auto Parts receives the part, or a shipping label will be provided to the buyer.
All fluids must be drained from any item before returning it to Deep South Auto Parts. Deep South Auto Parts will not be responsible for returned items not deliverable to its facility due to leaking fluids.
Refunds & Exchanges
All warranties begin on the date in which the part is received by the buyer per tracking numbers issued by the shipping company.
A refund on parts sold as core can be issued any time during warranty period. Parts sold as used are exchange only after 30 days from receipt.* Returns on new and rebuilt parts seeking a full refund must be in the original, sellable condition, returned within 30 days from the date of receipt, and found not to have been used or installed.
No refunds will be given if the part has been altered, modified, or changed in any way other than what is necessary for installation and removal. We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee for all returned items.
*(Exchanges are subject to availability. If a new, used, or rebuilt part is unavailable for exchange during the guaranteed period, a refund will be issued. Item must be returned in its original sellable condition)
