    Description

    This has been in a cabinet at my house.  A lady gave it to my daughter about 30 years ago.  I would call it a "Dutch" or peasant doll. It is made of cloth and seems to be stiffed with sand? It is VERY tight and stiff and kind of heavy for such a little piece.  The clothes are stitched on.  It has yarn hair.  The face looks hand painted on what looks to be bisque.  It is unique and almost looks foreign as it is not the typical U.S. looking doll.  Check out the photos and email with any questions.
